Phase 1
I utilized extensive research to identify the most effective methods of reducing cognitive load when gathering user feedback.
I began with a competitor analysis of feedback flows and scoured academic journals in order to ideate a feedback flow prioritizing usability and enhanced customer experience.
Phase 2: Wireframes
I began the ideation process by conceptualizing a feedback request pathway backed by research.
I took a pen to paper and idealized some physical wireframes.
Then, I rendered them digitally.
I exhausted many possible options for the design of the feedback request, but I was unsure of which design was most optimal for my goal. I learned that I needed to revisit early stages of my research process, which pointed me towards taking a step back and decluttering my design.
Phase 3: Mockups
Using the foundations established from prior steps in the design process, I refined the wireframes and progressed to mockups. I worked within the parameters of two existing design systems, ensuring that the user flow could be utilized across both platforms of Cosmic Rewards and AdGem.

Major Takeaways
This project was essential in for the routine incorporation of primary consumer data for AdAction. I learned that cognitive load is reduced for users when designs contain simple and concise content for feedback requests, producing more constructive (and often more positive) feedback. Ultimately, feedback is foundational to producing the most favorable user experience and allows for the contribution of user opinion to the improvement of the platform.
